Salsa After Work

Salsa After Work is directed towards adults in the Washington, DC area who are looking to meet new people, learn to dance, or just try something new and exciting. With new Latin clubs popping up all over the metropolitan area, both Salsa and Bachata dancing has quickly become the new craze in DC nightlife!

Often, people think that it takes months (or years!) of practice to become good enough to look like a Salsera or Bachatero on the dance floor. Many people also have jobs that conflict with any serious dancing commitment. Salsa After Work understands this, and aims to correct this mindset. The primary goal of our lessons are to get you out on the dance floor and having fun as soon as possible! By placing more emphasis on lead/follow technique, basic footwork, and “go-to” moves, we hope to rapidly improve your partnering skills so that you’ll be social dancing in no time!
